I was 14, and “that was the camera I brought along when your mom and I went on dates,” he added when he passed me the black camera. I knew it then that film photography and film cameras are something that tells stories that excites me. They are going to tell my story. They will be my story.

The Click Shop has always been the home of analog photography and all things Polaroid since the founding year of 2008. We were the enthusiasts that have a special something for film photography in the digital era. Now that we are under a new management, we are also the story seekers that have a love for all the stories behind each photo taken.

A group of passionate people, addicted to the experience of vintage electronics. Something about the twisting knobs, whirring gears, mechanical buttons, perfectly imperfect film grain and warm analog sounds. In an increasingly digital world, the magic of analog is increasingly enchanting. It’s comforting. Comforting to take a break from the excess of consumption convenience has allowed. Comforting to step back and engage in a more tactile and deliberate experience. 

These products, that still prove to be so useful and enjoyable, shouldn’t be haphazardly discarded. Left to decay (or never decay, because plastic) in some landfill. We give them a new life. Faithfully restoring each item to give you a product that performs like it was meant to right out of the box. A true experience that refuses to be pushed out by the whims of the latest technological trend.

Photography is an ever changing art form – but despite its ups and downs in the last few decades, instant film photography hasn’t changed much since the release of the SX-70 back in 1972. MiNT's founder felt that there were still more to be done and chose to carry on that legacy. He decided to create his own line of products which would marry modern innovations in technology with the timeless, familiar design of the SX-70 to keep the magic of the Polaroid experience alive.

‘Mint’ – the term collector’s use to describe high quality items in perfect condition – became the standard to which we hold all our products. To make this ideal a reality, we assembled a team of dedicated artisans, designers and engineers. As MiNT, we aim to bring our customers products that Dr. Edwin Land would be proud of!
